This thesis discusses moderate Islamic education at the Kiai abdul ghofur
Paciran Lamongan. This study aims to understand the concept of moderate Islamic
education and its implementation at the Islamic Boarding School for Thought Studies
Kiai abdul ghofur, as well as what factors influence the success of moderate Islamic
education at the Islamic boarding school.
This study uses qualitative methods with data collection techniques through
interviews, observation, and documentation studies. The results showed that
moderate Islamic education at the Islamic Boarding School for the Study of Thought
Kiai abdul ghofur is carried out by integrating Islamic teachings with daily life,
teaching inter-religious tolerance, and promoting peace and social harmony. Factors
that influence the success of moderate Islamic education at this Islamic boarding
school include good leadership, an appropriate curriculum, effective teaching
methods, and support from the surrounding community.
In conclusion, this study shows that the Islamic Boarding School for the Study
of Thought Kiai abdul ghofur has succeeded in carrying out moderate Islamic
education well. This is supported by supporting factors such as good leadership,
appropriate curriculum, effective teaching methods, and support from the
surrounding community. This research is expected to contribute to the development
of moderate Islamic education in other Islamic boarding schools and become a
reference material for researchers and educational practitioners.
